Born into a family of renowned Narbonne chefs, it was his father Claude…

…the youngest ever to be awarded 2 Michelin stars, and his mother, a sommelier. He went on to gain new experience working with Michelin-starred chefs such as the Crillon and the Ritz. He returned to his roots in Narbonne, accompanied by his wife, by taking over the family restaurant, the Maison Saint Crescent in the Oratoire du VII Siècle, where he spent all his youth.

Because our holiday rentals with swimming pool are located in the heart of the Languedoc region, a highly protected area of nature and garrigue, but also close to the sea.

Lionel Giraud’s cuisine is a blend of land and sea, distinguished by its purity. He has chosen to create a cuisine that is sustainable, 0 waste and above all local. That’s why he gives pride of place to local producers, market gardeners, fishermen, livestock farmers, edible flower growers, organic farmers, winemakers… All of them are close to our holiday rentals in the Aude. You can meet the farmers who work the land and protect the biodiversity of our region.

As the owner of charming gites near Narbonne for the last 10 years, it’s our pleasure to share our favourites.

We travel around the area near the Canal du Midi, between the Hérault and Aude departments, and we’re big fans of gastronomy. Lionel Giraud’s cuisine is sober, inventive and creative. This restaurant is one of the many nuggets of our beautiful Aude department.
