We offer rentals of houses and villas with private gardens. It is easily accessible by train (Paris is 4 hours and a half and Narbonne train station is approximately 20 minutes), plane (airports of Montpellier, Béziers, Carcassonne, Perpignan, Girona, Barcelona) or the road (the A9 and A62 motorways are approximately 20 minutes away). During your walks, you will be conquered by the beauty of the natural sites and by the richness of the cultural and oenological heritage of Languedoc Roussillon where the sun shines 300 days a year.
We fell in love with the Domaine, the charm of its 19th century architecture, the tower and its old dovecote, the old stone outbuildings, the wrought iron gates and gates and its wooded park. The atmosphere that emanates from this noble residence is simple, elegant and restful. In the past, the chatelains produced wine there and the newlyweds of the village had their photos taken under the magnificent 300-year-old oak, a symbol of longevity. This majestic oak tree and the Domaine’s well have inspired us its name : PUYCHENE. It’s a great place to live.
With the help of an architect, we have renovated it with care, retaining the old wine vats, the exposed stone facades, the dovecote in the tower, the old terracotta tiles, the beams, the fireplaces. Our 10 house and villa rentals have been designed to offer you, in a green and calm setting, comfortable, functional and warm vacation spots, like a family home, with a swimming pool to relax and refresh you. Each house and gîte, consisting of a ground floor, a first floor and a private garden, has its own character, its own furniture and has been carefully furnished for your comfort.
We have created, with a landscaperelected in 2004 “Meilleur Ouvrier de France en Arts des Jardins” (distinction awarded by their peers to the best craftsmen in France), gardens bringing together varied, colorful and scented species offering a flowery atmosphere throughout. seasons.
Between two getaways, you can relax by the Domaine’s swimming pool, a place of relaxation and conviviality. Your children will play and swim with their classmates in complete safety, with the property closed and the swimming pool protected. Your car will be parked in a private car park inside the domain.
Our property is located in Saint-Nazaire d’Aude, an authentic village in Languedoc Roussillon which has retained a warm atmosphere with its café and shaded terrace, bakery, grocery store, post office and newsagent close to the Field. With family or friends, you will go on foot, have a drink or do your shopping while taking the time to live.
You will find supermarkets and a pharmacy about 2 kilometers from the Domaine. You can also go to many markets in Narbonne and in nearby villages to taste regional products (fish, seafood, olives, tapenades, honey, cheeses, etc.). From our cottage you can easily reach the banks of the Canal du Midi via a nearby dirt road, for walking, running or pedaling.
You will spend a varied holiday because in our sunny region you will find many activities for young and old. From our Estate, you can visit many interesting sites: the Languedoc region offers a multitude of activities and exceptional sites that will make your holidays unforgettable. You will fully enjoy your holidays: nautical activities on the beaches of the Mediterranean (board, paddle, kitesurf …) historical sites (City of Carcassonne, Cathar castles, abbeys of Fontfroide, medieval villages of Lagrasse and Minerve, …), cycling in the scrubland, museums of Narbonne, old streets of Montpellier, Pézenas or Collioure, wine tasting and purchase directly in the estates without forgetting all the restaurants that await you in the villages, by the sea or on the banks of the Canal du Midi…
